Spot Trading Opening Risk Control Rules
Order Restrictions
Due to high volatility during new token listings, OKX implements the following order limits for the first 5 minutes after spot trading begins to protect investors:
- Maximum amount per limit order: $10,000 USD
- Maximum net position per user: $10,000 USD
These restrictions will be lifted 5 minutes after trading begins.
Price Limit Rules
When a new token lists:
- If index price is unavailable/unstable, a closing-price-based limit rule applies
- When stable index price exists, index-based limit mechanism activates
Closing-Price-Based Limit Rules:
