To further optimize user experience, OKX will adjust the calculation method for transferable amounts in user trading accounts under PM mode effective August 9, 2023, at 10:00 PM (UTC+8). After this adjustment, positive net option values in user positions will be eligible as collateral to support increased transfer limits.
Key Changes in Option-Supported Maximum Transfer Amount
Under the current system logic, PM users' positive net option values aren't counted as collateral, meaning option positions couldn't help users transfer more assets from their trading accounts. The new calculation method introduces these risk-controlled measures:
- Liquidity Discount: All positive option positions will be multiplied by a liquidity discount factor
- Delta Value Restrictions: Option longs with smaller absolute Delta values will receive progressively higher discount rates
- Upper Limit: The positive option value contribution cannot exceed the predefined maximum transfer limit threshold
Dynamic Suspension Mechanism for Option Value Transfers
The option value-supported transfer function will temporarily deactivate when the system detects abnormal market conditions, during which users can still transfer assets based on non-option-supported amounts. This suspension doesn't affect:
- Account equity
- Margin requirements
- Risk ratios
